Edmund Spence designed a furniture line called Continental-American Collection which was manufactured by the Mexican company
Industria Meublera in 1953. The lounge chairs feature interesting details influenced by Mexican design in the 1950s. Chair arms flair outward, legs have insert pegs and widen at bottom, seat backs tilt. Chairs are completely reupholstered in cut velvet Truffle fabric. Chairs are in excellent vintage condition.
