Metro Modern is located in Richmond’s Fan District.  The Fan is an energetic and charming neighborhood of musems, restaurants, art galleries and retail spaces.  This area is also home to Virginia Commonwealth University and hundreds of turn of the century historic row houses which spread out in a “fan”shape, running north and south from Cary St. to Monument Avenue and east and west from Nansemond to Harrison.

Together with the renowned Johannas Design Group and Helen Reed of Helen Reed Design, this retail gallery employs modern, affordable materials in an attractive way  to showcase our treasures. Additionally, we wish to thank Lythos Studios of Richmond and Blair Christopher for our website and web design. The store features a mix of 20th century furniture, lighting, objects and fine art in 2200 square foot gallery space.
